Then refer to Peters post quoted below. Add the exchange fee to whatever
the monthly fee is that you're data provider charges. For instance, if his
fees are $100 per month to send you price quotes and you want to trade the
spoos, then you need quotes from the CME exchange. So you'd add $55 and pay
a total of $155 per month. This now entitles you to receive real time
quotes on all the contracts traded on the CME for one month.
Also be aware that the charges are for the first of the month to the last
day of the month, so no matter when you sign up, you will be charged the
full $155 for that month. In other words, if you start you're service on
March 1st you will be charged $155 for the month of March. Should you tell
the provider you want to start immediately, say tomorrow Feb 25th, they'd
charge you the full $155 for the month of Feb. plus the same amount for
March, even though you only got a couple of days use out of it. Some
providers don't mention that "little" regulation. I got stuck that way
once.
