Does WinNT do the same job in terms of multiple monitors as W98?

|Cannot understand why should need a "special" video card to run two
|monitors under 98? Assuming that your computer is recent and has an AGP
|video slot which is filled by your present card, the only thing is that you
|will need is a PCI video card. I am just about to install all this -
just
|waiting for the new ATI Rage Fury 32mb AGP which has not yet been released
|in UK.
|
|There is full information in the WIN98 help (Start Button help icon) under
|"multiple display support".
|
|No multiple keyboards or mice are required if using two computers!
|
|I use a Belkin Omniview SE 2 Port (4 Port available and can be banked too)
|switch which allows one keyboard, mouse (and monitor, if you wish) to
|control as many computers as you wish. Not very expensive - probably
|cheaper in the US than here in UK anyway.
|
|I am just about to set up a system that combines both of the possibilities
|under discussion. Two computers networked (WIN98) with one having two
|video cards and the other only one. The switch will be between the two
|computers and so I will either be operating the main computer with dual
|screens or the other with one screen. The essential thing about the
switch
|is that all computers "see" a mouse and keyboard so that there are no boot
|problems.
