I use <Shift>+<PrintScreen> to copy entire screen to clipboard, then paste
into image software (PaintShop Pro or MS PhotoEditor which comes with
Office) and cut the portion I want. When I'm going to save I use PaintShop
and save as Version 87a Non-interlaced which makes a very tight GIF
(30-40k) - PhotoEditor gifs are quite large, especially when saved from 32
bit true color (100k +).

    dear earl,

will you please tell me how do you save the graph of the sp500
    to a gif file ?

how big is the gif file ?

    thank you very much.

I made a graph under a certain software and I want to send
my graph to my brother so I saved the graph as A SCREENPRINT
but I see that my file with a clp extension is very large more than 3
Mega

so it was too heavy to send via the internet !

perhaps you got another idea for me ?

thank you very much if you help me in this matter!
