I've used DLJDirect and have found a number of issues.
- Site relatively frequently inaccessible, particularly on busy days
- Hold times of 5-10 minutes on busy days! (They say they are staffing up,
but still...)
- Inability to complete some transactions online (e.g., covering short sale
on same day)
- System gets confused after about 3 changes to limit/stop orders
- Real-time holdings were completely wrong one day
- System enhancements are made available slowly (new releases seem to take
at least 6 months)
- Reporting system slows down on orders involving DIA and SPY, as
confirmations have to be entered manually
Other than this, I like them <g>
