 Interesting connection;

Supertraders Almanac that among other things list Planetary apects and
when
there are several "important" ones clustered together on the same date,
label these as Major or Minor Astro points. Over the last 5-10 years the
author has shown how, historically, these points correlate with tops and
bottoms (and on occasions breakouts or acceleration) - lets just say
 "Energy in the markets".
Reading Dicks observation above I checked the almanac and find that we
have
"Minor Astropoints" on 1/26 and 2/1.
He also lists a "Pesavento Index" which is compiled from astrology by
Larry
Pesavento who has written several books on Financial Astrology and
trading.
This index, however, Larry P credits Ruth Miller with its origin. I don't
know exactly what information he uses though. But when the index reaches
above 14 or below 3 it generates a "signal" (often tops or bottoms =
 energy).
The Index is at 16 (the highest for the 1st 6 months of 1999) on Feb 1st
and reaches 3 (the lowest for the 1st 6 months of 1999) on Feb 8.(there
are
6 signals Jan-Jun. 3 others at end of May and June so they are not THAT
 frequent)

We also have a Lunar Eclipse on Jan 31st which also sometimes generates
 interesting developments in markets.

To conclude: Jan 26 Jan 31st Feb 1st Feb 8, have interesting astrological
constellations and if we take the midpoint of that cluster, it's between
Feb 1st and 2nd. Fwb 1st being an astropoint and feb 2nd the P-High for
the
 year.
(Another Financial astrologer, Raymond Merriman, shows in his "The Gold
Book" that when we have several aspects in clusters, something will happen
in the middle of these clusters, which is the reason that Feb 1-2 could be
a high energy day. Fridays also tends to be volatile, sometimes, so I
 wouldn't count out 1/29).

Well, this was a very simple way of aplying planetary phenomenons to the
 marketplace (my limit..),
For more complicated stuff, check out Norman or the Web.
But I think Next weekend will be interesting
