Hi,
The reason why I'm posting this to the group, because others maybe thinking the
same way, otherwise I would post direct to the trader. Thomas you might want
to save your $877 and check out these other sites. What this is called is
playing the news. It is not as easy as some may want to make you think.
First of all you need Level II, and understand how Level II works also to use
a Level II firm. Reason no online broker will let you in before the market
opens. With a Level II firm you can use, what is called the ISLD (Island)
to place trades or INCA (Instinet) before the market opens or closes. Monthly
fees are high, about $255-$325 for data only. Realtick III is the most common
software you will use, its free when you open your account. Comm $10-$25 per
trade. And trades are generally 1000 + shares a trade. The real trick to
trading the news is just do it, don't think about it and learn to get out VERY
Quickly otherwise you'll be out of the game in a week. Walter Downs posted
something this week saying " know when to hold them, know when to fold them".
There are people who do trade only for the first hour, but they had some
trading experience first. There are 3 places to get info on Level II,
http://www.elitetrader.com , http://www.undergroundtrader.com ,
http://wwwpolartrading.com .
If you need any other info or help, email me direct.
Trade Well,
Joe Frabosilio
