Re: CL_order systems - call to action

The only two major electronic order system backbones I know of are TOPS/CUBS
operated by the exchanges and the TimberHill proprietary backbone. I can't
speak to leased line access, however the TH internet access was down for
some 20 minutes this morning, while quotes were still streaming in from
Signal OnLine. According to my saved notes from Realtraders, you are using
PMB which forwards orders via the TH system. I noted you reported
encountering outages without any notification.

I guess this is my whole point - when this kind of crap happened 3-5 years
ago on the electronic stock broker systems, there was such a hue and cry
that the regulators, exchanges, and consumers forced the brokers to get
their systems fixed.
