Hi Steve,

I wonder if you and you're closest friends would share some of your favorite
paramaters for the SMI.

I too am a devotee (and what friends I have left) of the indicator, with
30,5,8 being my all around paramater, but that can sometimes get a little
choppy.  It depends on the market though, sometimes even 5,3,3 will work.
But if you go to long with the first number it tends to stay on the top or
bottom of the chart too long.  And working with the other numbers, while
making the line nice and smooth, tend to lag tops and bottoms by too much.
So I was wondering what some of your favorites are.
