I exit positions for one of two reasons.....either :

 1)  The price action hits my resting trailing stop and takes me out.
 
 2)  My technical exit condition is triggered and forces me to exit
     the position.  This technical exit condition must be consistantly
     applied and can be anything that your little heart desires (if
     it makes technical sense?).  Examples.....Moving ave crossovers
     or down turn of the ADX or Momentum peaked and is now falling or
     even combinations of a couple is a possiblity.

Simple right ???  In theory - yes .... In practice - depends on you !!

I tend to use a profit or "point" objective.
