<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>According to several items I've seen, the meteor
showers should begin approximately 1am EST on November 17 and last for only a
day or so. Scientists believe that the most intense period will be between 1am
and 5am and that the show will be spectacular for those who can stay awake and
find a dark spot from which to watch. This particular comet and its debris cycle
every 33 years. No one knows how many of the 500+ satellites in the path of the
debris will still be up and running during working/trading hours on November 17:
TV, pagers, data feeds, phones, ???. Traders might want to consider exiting
positions on the 16th, watching the big show at night, and taking the 17th
off.</FONT></DIV>

A lot of these "zany" moves can be explained with two words- short covering.
