Please, understand......TRIN is derived from advancing stocks vs declining
stocks and up/down volume.........
IF the 10 most active stocks were all down 1.00 going into the last few
minutes and they all closed down .50....they would still be considered
declining stocks for the TRIN computation, but they could have had huge
buying in the last few minutes taking them from down 1.00 to down only
.50....the tick would have been very positive because these stocks went
from -1.00 to -.50....but...the huge volume it took to drive the stocks less
negative would actually make the trin worse....more volume going into
declining stocks.........
I hope this makes sense.....
