Hi Lynn,

You should reboot and then you can delete all .tmp files. Best to do it
immediately after a reboot because if you run any programs there may be
.tmp files in use. After you delete all the .tmp files then reboot again
and make sure everything is working. If you needed them the .tmp files
would be in the recycle bin. After you are sure all is fine (I'm 99.9%
certain it will be) then empty the recycle bin to actually free up the
space on your computer. I'm assuming you are using W95 or 98.

You may not need all the precautions I line out above but it's always
better to be safe than sorry.

Other places to check for wasted space would be the cache of your
browser, sent messages and trashed messages. All depends on which
browser and/or e-mail program you use. The cache can add up to an awful
lot of space very quickly. So can trashed or sent messages.

Regards, Randall
