I have done some interesting forecasting correlation workm with the December
DOW. The Dow has put in 5 significant pivots representing 4 waves down since
the July high. These are:
7/17/98 high to 8/11 low 25 calander days
8/11 low to 8/19 high 8 days
8/19 high to 9/1 low 13 days
9/13 low to 9/23 high 21 days.
Note the Fibonacci expansion on the moves from the 8/19 low. The next term in
the expansion, 34 days, added to the 9/23 high projects a low on 10/27.
The Princton Economic Institute indicates a major turn date of 10/29 Wilder's
Delta has an intermediate turn on 10/29. My work correlating individual turn
dates for the DOW 30 indicates major turn between 10/27 and 11/3 ( 6 trading
day window.
This indicates to me that the fifth wave down could terminate in this time
window.
