Canadian Stocks and Fee's ?

    I 'am writing to you from Canada, I 'am wondering if any of the Canadian traders are using brokerages(Stock) based out of the U.S. and whether the fees are cheaper,(to trade Canadian and U.S. stocks) and is service and others is better ? or are they using Canadian based brokerages such as TD or Royal Bank for convenience and liquidity and etc.
