Fellow Traders,
Now that the SP has limit down, I have time to ask this question...
Does anyone in the group have any experience using the browser-based
order entry system by PMB (www.pmbinc.com). According to their website
and the broker I spoke to, orders get routed thru TimberHill's
computers, then
to a hand held devices in the S&P pit where a broker executes the order,
enters
the fill price, then back to you within 15 seconds.
Also, from what I hear, the uptime of TimberHill computers seem to be
more stable than
the CUBS, though they have other dependancies that are out of control,
and do go
down occasionally, but not as frequent as the "infamous" CUBS.
But before jumping to another brokerage firm, I'd appreciate any
comments/feedback on
experiences with PMB/TimberHill.
