A while back a fellow with an email address of bullcom, steered (no pun
intended)
me to a tome by an annonymous trader known as the Phantom of the Pits..
Aside from being excellent. This guy remarks that trading isn't just
about market knowledge, but about a trader as individual modifying
His/Her BEHAVIOR. This is tough to do..
I recently came accross a set of audio tapes by Anthony Robbins, called
Personal Power..
I have started doing the tapes, since I have gotten to the point of
avoiding pulling the trigger consistantly,
There is solid methodology about behavior modification. It is based on
Neural Linguistic programing, but I guess it has some modifications.. It
seems do-able.
If nothing else. It offers a person insight into how to change a
negative association to one of positve. If you have a positive
association to an action, one is more than likely able to act. I can
imagine if you have too much fear/pain associated with the speed dial
then why bother dialing,, it is easier to avoid the stress, trauma,
pain, being wrong.. etc.
Trading is hard, the POP's first rule is that when taking a trade one
acknowledges that one is going against the majority and thus must behave
accordingly.. I'll let you figure that one out.

Good Modifying..
