Hi

Thought long and hard before joining this thread -
torn between joining a stimulating discussion and
the possibility of a slang match - 

"how can you possibly think that"

type discussion.

My view is we are standing at a momentous time
in the Earth's history -  similar to the Renaissance, Industrial 
Revolution,  and the Technological Revolution. In each
of those eras, breakthroughs by man heralded a 
spectacular improvement in mankind's  quality 
of life.

If the past eras are to be a guide, then the improvements
will be achieved inspite of and not because of our politicians,
especially over here in Australia.

I agree we are at a point when world's stock market
are likely to make a correction. I'll worry about the 
extent when the charts indicate the correction is 
underway; I also have a look at it towards end
July, early Aug when I the Presidential Cycle low
come in. 

I guess I have the luxury of patience as I don't 
trade the stock mkts but merely observe them for
interest.
