I guess you just found out which system works the better!
Seriously though, in England there is an old saying, "when in doubt, do nowt" ("nowt" = "nothing"). Perhaps you should have sat aside during the last couple of days until your two trusty systems resolved their argument.

As you guys know from my previous post I have a SP vs VIX system that shows some strong results. I
am in a dilemma though and it seems your VIX systems are all showing buys and mine is selling. I
have a system that is being traded for a client that is long and has nothing to do with the VIX.
Here is a case of confusion, I am long and despite all recommendations that I not be long, I am
long. The primary system that I trade is long, and I traded it too long to dispute it. Though in the
back of my mind knowing that the VIX system we have is short is upsetting, I will almost be relived
if the long system flips short. But that brings me to the point, I am a system trader and if I have
an opinion it is usually wrong. So I will concede I cant trade my way out of a paper bag and that's
why I have a system. I may be able to over ride it and do better some times. But in the long run I
cant beat it and the psychological damage it does me is not worth the thrill of the short term gain.
I'm in this business for the long term and I will be trading long after this Bull market has ended
and all the Bull market geniuses have lost all there money and gone back to there regular jobs.
