A friend of mine had a $25000 managed account with Larry. He lost 25% in a
few months and stopped himself out.
Larry is one of the greatest promoters of all time. He almost promoted
himself into the US Senate.
He also has done excellent technical work over the years in search of the
holy grail.
He admits in an interview with S&C that he never found it. Unfortunately the
marketing literature I get implies that he has ...
Larry mentions the Commitment of Traders report in the same interview.
One idea that Larry mentioned that helped me was that you need 500pt stops
to trade the S&P.(depending on your time frame) Bill Williams also talked
about "trading the market not your wallet" in connection with stop
placement. I have found both Williams to be helpfull and have books written
by both. I prefer Bill to Larry. Bill
has a web page at http://www.profitunity.com/ where you can download a demo
of his investor's dream software. Of course when Bill starts talking about
intuitive trading I tune him out.
