if you need it for mkt timing the best way is to nornal the #
in 1970 there were only 2000 issues traded on the nyse
in 1980 only 3000
in 1990 3100
current aprox 3600
you take hi minus low as percentage of total issues
when that number is under its 19 day exp m/a the mkt made a MAJOR TOP
this happen yesterday
use today 100 point up day to short
