I think TASC is a great magazine. Their technical articles from various
contributors are informative and well edited. However, when the editors
review various products in depth, they seem to be walking on eggs. I
find those articles useful for determining product features--but little
help in comparing the relative quality of those features with similar
products. TASC appears to be very reluctant to come out and say a
certain feature in product A sucks compared to product B. Unfortunately,
this is the sort of information you need to decide if you want to
purchase A or B, or both.
