Ah, now I see the usefulness of this function. I don't work with intraday
data and didn't think of this. My suggestion will work with EOD data.

I don't think so.  If you are dealing with 60 minute bars, Close[1] will
give you the close of the last 60 minute bar and CloseD[1] will give you the
previous days close.
