I decided to go the route of the "digest" method of looking
at this list when things seemed to move too far away from
the concept of REALTRADERS!
However, it was good to see a few less than timid souls
willing to try to revive the list. I think I'll stay on digest
for the time being but:
ON THE ATTACHED .GIF I HAVE TAKEN DATA
ON THE DJIA (daily) from 1921 to now. The analysis
was set up to require a 5 day reversal (which for this
current leg has not been met so projection is somewhat
iffy) for each turning point.
The system found 91 similar market conditions.
A selection was made to average these into seven (7)
sets of projections. One of these projections (purple)
seemed to follow the current market action very
closely. The little red squares point out the next
projected TP (Turning Point) to be about 8 market
days from now and at a level in the 8700's.
More interesting is that the projection CALLS FOR
A NEW HIGH AFTER THIS PULLBACK.
DON'T BLAME ME it is just what the market has
done several times before in similar conditions.
