Take a look at www.localknowledge.com
It provides a commentary from the S&P pit by two traders, Steve
Prosniewski and Ray Burchett, who intend to include Bonds and currencies
later this year.
They post an hourly report throughout the trading day giving their view
of whether the market will work higher or lower with target prices.
I tried it for a couple of weeks and found it gave me a new insight into
how the market operates which was very useful, but by the time I read
their commentaries they were history. Learning why I just got scorched
was interesting but not preventative.
One morning just after I started using their service I made a couple of
points on a rally which abruptly turned. I had just got out when one of
them rang to say that the institutional paper that had sparked the rally
had dried up. I have suggested to them that their service would be much
more useful if they could deliver information like this by pager as and
when required.
A subscription costs $375 per month. Call Jerry on 1-800-254-9809 and I
am sure he will offer you a free trial.
