I have looked at weekly charts of the crb index. Indeed there are significant
divergences on several key indicators. It looks to me like there could be a
turn coming. Perhaps the deflation ghost is soon to dissapear.
Re. the dollar: On the weekly charts I too see a decending triangle pattern
and the indicators look to me like a down turn is probable. Re. Gold: London
gold weekly charts clearly show an freshening uptrend.
Are we finaly seeing the end of this expansionary cycle?
Is the great bull soon to sicken?
Perhaps an era of hard asset inflation will return and paper assets will
deflate.
I feel for all those mutual fund investors floating around haplessly in the
investment pond. It could very well be a dangerous time to stay long in US
equities.
