1. Make sure the physical com port is still correctly selected in server
options.

2. Check the settings for the chosen com port in Win95. Right click on
My Computer, select Properties, select the Device Manager tab, expand
Ports, select the correct Com Port, click Properties, for port settings
use 115200, 8, None, 1, XOn/XOff. Then click the Advanced button, make
sure the FIFO check box is checked, run the Receive slider all the way
to the right, and the Transmit slider almost to the right and OK your
way out.

3. Don't overlook the obvious. I can't tell you how many times I've lost
the signal because I hadn't secured the connector.
