Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I've been trying to locate fasttrack on the web for months. I couldn't
remember if I had the right name, and I couldn't get close enough with
the usual search engines. Who would've thought they'd put a ".net" at the
backend of their address. I think I even tried that, but used "fastrack"
instead of fasttrack".

The reason I was interested, of course, is to compare them to Manhattan
Analytics. BTW, one of the neat things Manhattan does is give you
excellent statistics, like correlation, sharpe ratio, ulcer index, etc.
They also have a mutual fund switching simulation, though you have to use
one of their pre-programmed algorithms. They even have an efficient
frontier add on that can help you decide on a portfolio of mutual funds.
I just wish they followed more funds.

An outstanding source of mutual fund data is Fasttrack--with same day
dividend adjustment in many cases. The cleanest data around--they make a
fetish of it. The software associated with it provides excellent
analysis and downloading (e.g. Metastock) capabilities. A number of
additional analysis software products have arisen from supporters and
users. It also has an e-mail list similar to this one, an independently
sponsored quarterly newsletter filled with strategies, local clubs and
annual seminars. There is literally a rich culture that has developed
around Fasttrack and its associated products, initiated primarily by
satisfied users. Contact: 1-800-749-1348 or e-mail at paul@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
BTW, I'm unfortunately not associated with them in any way--except as a
happy user for over 2 years.
