I am not the person you sent this to originally, but I think I can help.
To access this real time chat do not use IRC or any of the other 'usual' chat
programs. You point your web browser at the site
http://www.realtraders.com/exch.htm that John listed in his note and that
will start Java and then the applet that is used for the 'real time chat' will
start. If you want to continue to use your browser, you would select the
option in the chat applet to float.
