GEN: Help with creating Cycles

Dear RT's
	I would appreciate it if someone would tell me a formula that would
create a cycle wave with X days between it's troughs or crests using
trigonometric calculations(or any other way of creating cycles) that all
charting software usually have.  I don't have a charting program that
has the specific cycle finder capability, so I'm trying how to create a
cycle wave with custom formulas.  Thanks in advance.
