Emailing realtime trading decisions, etc. would be a very tedious in my
opinion. But there is always Internet Relay Chat, or IRC. You can
connect to IRC using an IRC client like mIRC. You can get it from
www.mirc.com. Install it, and set it up. Then you select a server of
your choice and connect. You then join whatever chatrooms you wish. I
would like to make a suggestion to RealTraders that the staff set up a
chat room on IRC. It's best that it be on EFNet. Realtraders can then
join the chat room and chat with other RT's in realtime, and in IRC,
there is a list of the people in the chat room, so you will know if
there is anybody to talk to right when you join the chat room. The chat
room should be called, whatelse but #realtraders.
You type /join #realtraders after connecting to an EFNET server to join
the room. For those that already know how to use IRC, I'll be in
#realtraders on Dec. 24th. Probably during the afternoon or maybe in
the morning. Just join and see. Then we can chat. We'll see how many
people show up in the chat room. No need for specific times.
