This is Eddie Kwong with a announcement about an upcoming event.
As you know, once in awhile we interview a noteworthy guest on RealTraders.
Next week, our guest will be Edward Allen Toppel, author of Zen in the
Markets: Confessions of a Samurai Trader. In this email I will describe how

For those of you not familiar with Ed's background, here's his bio:
He has been a professional floor trader for more than 22 years and has
traded via a screen over those years when not on the floor or on vacation.
He know both arenas well. He started the Bears, Stearns options department
in
Chicago in the late 1960's before the CBOE was a glint in Eddie O'Connor's
eye (the father of the exchange). When the exchange opened up, he bought a
seat shortly after that and was a market maker in IBM options for nearly
eight years before becoming a floor trader at the Chicago Mercantile
Exchange where he has been ever since trading the S&P 500 futures and
options. He can answer any questions from any perspective, including the
nitty-gritty of the floor as well as why so many people fail at trading
futures.
He has managed options and futures partnerships involving millions of
dollars. His book was published by Warner Books in 1994 and has sold over
100,000 copies worldwide. It has been translated into 5 languages with more
on the way. He reacquired the rights back in 1996.
