The XMI story of 87 is a well know public story. Highlighted in the
book the NEW MARKET WIZZARDS....Jim Kramer seems to encourage the
fantastic. It was the purchase of Maxi futures by Hull trading. No big
deal....no big secret. The trade wasn't done to save the world
either..it was simply a trade that garnered a lot of publicity because
it came during market freefall.
Read the chapter in the New Market Wizzards about Blair Hull. Actually
a great success story. Hull trading might well be the greatest success
story in options. If not the greatest...certainly one of the greatest
and better yet he is a true gentleman.
