Although this discussion about how to possibly trade inside the spread
is interesting, I think it is missing the Don Green point a little.
I may be mistaken but I thought the discrepenacy was that Don was making
trades in time periods were NO PRINT AT THAT PRICE EXISTED. It doesn't
matter if he bought the bid or not, the price never traded, according to
the posts I have seen. (I have not checked that this is the case myself)
I think we have all been lucky enough to buy the bid before (although if
you did , the bid was probably about to become the offer), and that is
great. I thought the problem was the claim of bogus prices, not great
fills.
