I agree with you re: paper trading...I've written several posts now about the
lack of importance to be attached to paper trading.
BUT you have to start somewhere. What alternative is there?
And isnt using Trade Station to run system experiments on historical data or
realtime with alerts just computer "paper" trading?
The true success of paper trading is realizing it is just that...ON
PAPER...Let yourself not be fooled by the success on paper....Take it as only
a guideline that perhaps you are on the right track.....
This is why experts: real day traders who have made it all advocate starting
slowly...maybe play a grain market first. Perhaps even a mini market...then
using real money you start to experience the other factors which come in to
play that paper trading can never simulate.....
