GEN: End of the World

I was watching Stephen J. Gould on PBS last night and he mentioned that
Oct 23, 1997 was the day that the world was supposed to end according to
a 4,000 year old prediction. Maybe they forgot to allow for the
precession of the equinox and the end of the world has moved to Hong
Kong.
