I just want to say like a lot of RTers the amount of mail you receive from
being on this list can be quite intimidating....people who just post trades
with no explanation to me are wasting my time (and dont worry I just delete
themso the time wasted is minimal). I mean who knows first of all when they
are buying them andat what price and in fact are they buying them at
all...but if that satisfies their ego so be it...unfortunately for us it just
adds time to the sifting process of going thru the messages.
my second observation is the Rick-Walt controversey.....I find both of these
traders helpful and very informative...but since i've been in this group i
think we've been down this road so many times. I hadnt opened my mail for two
days and as i watched this soap opera unfold letter after letter i was really
finding it quite amusing...First Rick, then Walt..counter punch...punch...as
i read i would chuckle ...."boy Rick is going to be pissed when he reads
this," or I'd whistle ..."Walt sure wont like that,".....but as I got to the
end of the emails i was a little bored at all this infighting yet once
again..another range war between futures traders...and Rick retiring....This
is not a letter to beg you to stay Rick....if you are unhappy then do
something that makes you happy...but why cant you put on ignore comments from
those who oppose you and focus on those that respect your writings...what do
you care what Walt orothers think? Does it make your Hogs call any less
valid? and Walt you too provide insightful commentary...why not just leave it
at that....why divide the camp...think as RT as the overall television signal
and let there be a Rick Channel and a Walt Channel..for those who side with
one or the other just push that delete button as i indicate i do to those one
sentence one trade announcements....and for those of us who enjoy both of you
all the better..we will use our remotes to switch back and forth on each
channel.
otherwise why dont we put you guys on PayTV and let you slug it out..may the
best trading system win......
