Last night on the weather channel they pointed out that this year we have had
an extremely low number of cyclonic storms in the Atlantic with only one
named storm in August and September. The last time we had so few storms was
1929. I wonder if there was a big El Nino event in 1929? Winski, Crawford,
and Carolan need to check correlations with El Nino and their respective
indicators.
