FUTR-The TD Range Expansion Index (TD REI)

Greetings,

Just got through reading the article by Tom DeMark in the August issue of
Stocks & Commodities magazine. His TD Range Expansion Index (TD REI) used
with the TD Price Oscillator Qualifier (TDPOQ) seems quite interesting as a
worthy overbought/oversold indicator. I am particularly interested in it's
potential as a filtering device in conjunction with price action patterns. A
few questions for anyone out there who might be interested:

1) Has anyone worked with this indicator, and if so, what are your thoughts,
experiences, feedback etc.?

2) Anyone tried the Software Modules created by Tom DeMark, which I assume
includes the TD REI?

3) Any comments on either of his published books "The New Science of
Technical Analysis" or the latest one "New Market Timing Techniques"?

I will be looking into this TD REI shortly, and will offer my thoughts about
it's potential, but would love to hear from someone who has already done so
themselves. This could help me focus on specific applications that may not
have been looked at thus far.
