Let me state up front that I was very pleased with the interest and
discussion this
indicator generated and the email messages which I received.
I want to clarify one point, this was never meant to be a cross over
trading system
In my 25 years of trading the futures market, I learned along time ago that
the trend is my friend
This simple indicator has been a friend to me ever since I stumbled upon
it. Those of
you who write your own coded programs will understand what I mean.
A second point. What if there are more optimal time periods for individual
future
markets. I know that 28 calendar days works well in four markets and it
seems in
tune with the full moon (from Larry Williams book written over 25 years
ago).

Those of you with Trade Station may want to change the ten to some other
number and see if there are better periods.
I have a couple other indicators which I have developed in that holy grail
search for better indicators.
Thanks again for your questions and replys. It is refreshing to see
serious traders
using their most precious commodity, their individual thinking. However, I
am not
surprised, commodity traders as a group are the most individualistic
people in the
world.
