I own both OptionStation and TradeStation, I got them together. I wanted some sort of option evaluation software and at
them same time I wanted everything to be compatible.
That said, I would have to say that you should at least load it on, and take advantage of the 30 day trial.
I was a little disapointed with the software initially, however I do use it. It comes in handy if you use any of the
greeks, and depending on the level of your option trading/activity. I have received free software from a few option trading
books that did simple Black-Scholes pricing models. However they are inpractical when looking at an option series and
detemining where your going to get the biggest bang for your buck.
I use OptionStation more as a quote page than anything else. If your look for the "TradeStation" for options, keep looking.
Basically I would not tell anyone to buy it, but at the same time the only complaint I have is the price tag.
Hope that some how this helps you, let me know if you have a questions.
