 Sorry to hear that you had such a problem with the Neural net software.
There are some very good packages out there but many are not geared toward
financial analysis -- in spite of their claims. It is absolutely essential
that the right type of net be set up to handle series data as well as any
preprocessed data. There are many different structures and algorithms. I
don't claim to be an expert but did spent a considerable amount of time and
money in evaluating some of them. I haven't worked with any of them in more
than three years and I am sure significant improvements have been made since
them.
    I hope the one you bought from Florida was not from Racecom. I bought
that one and I am very sure that it had more bugs than all of Africa. Good
