<x-rich>It would be an usual news for stock markets like Wall Street, London, and other european (Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich) and asian ones. Not for Italy! There are three dates italians remember well: the referendum for republic (1946), the last victory in football world championship (Spain, July 1982), and the all-time high for the stock market: May, 20, 1986. Over eleven years!!!
But today, after an explosive uptrend (nearly 50% since the beginning of current year), Comit Index has reached and exceeded its previous record at 908.20, with a noticeable 922.68 (+3% on previous day).
For those who believe US markets aren't all, here is the Comit Index weekly chart starting from 1981. Have a good vision!
