I wish that there was a solution to the data scaling problem. Each time
I add an index like the SP-500 or the Nasdaq composite, I have to adjust
the data scaling in the symbol universe from .001 to 1.00. This is a
needless pain.
Omega has not been of significant help. Editing the symbol universe in
mass has not been effective. I use Worden Bros. data.
My systems use pattern recognition so these errors tend to stand out.
Averages and other smoothing type indicators would be more difficult to
assess if the data was being interpreted incorrectly be Tradestation.
Thanks,
John
