Bob,

Yes, scale the indicator to "screen". You should be assesing the
plot values as viewed under normal daily chart conditions. Usually,
I'm viewing 5 to 6 months worth of data on the screen. In order to
pull the plot values for the next day's trading, i select the
"crosshair" cursor, and overlay it over the plot to get the
value. You are correct in that expanding the view will distort
the plots. For example, if you attempt to use the magnification
tool, the plots will move, beacuase the indicator is then
assesing only the viewed area of the chart.

Some people have been playing around with it by scaling to price,
but, unless you are playing around with the indicator on an
intraday chart, I wouldn't recommend it.
