Living in the dark ages with Windows 2000. You have to move up to
Windows XP or that other newer one V something. Even with XP 64 I
have to pull my memory stick out before I boot up. XP gets confused
about which drive is which, but it can use the memory from the stick
as if it is real memory. Some sticks crash several operating systems.

There may be an enhancement for 2000 to allow memory sticks but I
forget the process needed. Not really sure on it. I'm sure it is
more work than it is worth. Try the stick on a different machine.
All memory sticks are not created equal. I'm using a Kingston 64 GB
and it is different than some others. No that wasn't a typo. 64 GB.
They are all capable of errors. You could check the event log in
administrative tools in the control panel.

Also google ODBC for memory sticks. You might be able to just add it.

See I don't know. LOL.

Bet Jimmy knows this one.....
W2K - TS2ki
Plugged in my usb memory flash drive and computer just shut off.
On rebooting and as TS loads I get message;
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Fractional truncation (null)
The windows still load but this message keeps re-occurring after clicking OK
Any suggestions please. Many thanks...
