Henri,
I agree with Jimmy. The GS can get pretty slow as the size of the files
increase but time also takes a big toll by fragmenting the data in the GS
files. The Ts2ki defragmentation tool I wrote will help the problem
considerably. I worked with a test 20 GB set of real GS files that had
"Fragmentation Factors" as large as 25,000. What that means is that is if
you requested all data from that file the disk head would have to move
25,000 times as far as the disk head on an unfragmented file. I think Jimmy
can verify that the effect is very pronounced and the larger the GS data is
the more improvement you should see.

Subject: Limit on how much GlobalServer can process ?
Hello,
does anyone know if there is a limit to how much data
GlobalServer can handle in real time ?
We have a client that says that GlobalServer is sometimes
choking on the amount of data that is comming in. I have
never heard of this so am curious if anyone here has ever
come across this problem.
Thanks in advance,
Greetings,
