How are Tradestation Securities going downhill fast? Their software
continually improves and adds new features. They are very competitive with
their rates. The company is increasing revenue and earnings quite strongly.
The founding owners are showing they are smart and taking some of their huge
profits off the top. Just as any sensible investor would do. Yes, I'm sure
there are some minor unfixed bugs in the software. I'm sure their support
sometimes isn't what we all desire. But name me one company on the planet
that doesn't have those issues from time to time as well. Perhaps you can
elucidate on something I'm not aware of. And no, I have no connection with
the company, merely stating the facts.

I would say that is fallacious. The posts on Elite Trader recently about the
spotty server performance of Tradestation....and then about the incredibly
MASSIVE "TRAD" stock selling by none other than Billy and Ralphy recently
....are quite telling. Tradestation is going downhill fast.

There are new kids on the block....namely Thinkorswim (great service,
support, reliability...terrible programmability) and NinjaTrader (great
everything, even documentation !).
Multicharts and Amibroker are also in the running...albeit they are in the
back.
Interactive Brokers is just a crap-shoot...their API is so full of holes,
it's like swiss cheese...
and of course, they use outsourced programmers.(touch of bitterness ? YOU
BET !)
