I would change the date on your computer to 9/7 then bring the data
back. Should work fine if the backup was good to start with. So you
start with no GS or TS2ki running then change the computer date then
go to the recycle bin and restore all the TS2ki stuff then if it is in
the correct location, as in you deleted it from the Omega folder, then
crank up the GS and fix the expiration stuff the way you usually do.
For safety open up the charts to see if all is well. Shut down Tsk2i
and GS change date and crank up and download new data. Right?

Hi Jimmy
Maybe there is hope after all. I just backed up my entire Omega Research
program on my external hard drive last weekend. When I did that, I deleted
the prior backup that I had done on 9-07-07. I just checked my recycle bin
and the server, universe and my work folders from the 9-07-07 backup are
still sitting there. This was done before my ES and Russell contracts
expired. Is it possible to restore these settings and will the Global Server
still think that the date is 9-07-07? I could then go in and change the
expiration date of those contracts as usual and then import the rest of the
data to fill the gap? If I try this, what steps should I take? Should I
delete my current folders and import these?

Still hoping,
Mike

This is where you put a bullet through your head.

Using 2000i, I have been saving my ES and Russell charts for years. Each
chart contains hundreds of rectangles, ellipses, trend lines, etc. The only
problem is that when a symbol expires, I end up losing all the drawing
objects on the charts because the symbol itself gets renamed (ESU7 turns to
ES200709). I have avoided this problem by changing the symbol settings and
not letting the symbol expire, thus ESU7 never turns into ES200709 because I
change the expiration date to 9/20/2013. Well, I forgot to do this with ESU7
and now my charts are useless. When I reload them with ES200709, the drawing
objects do not come back up. I tried to rename the file back to ESU7 without
luck. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Michael Maldonado
