VMplayer & virtual appliances

For those of you who have a desperate need to use internet explorer or email
during trading hours (and do not have a dedicated machine for doing this,
e.g. if one is travelling and only has a laptop) then the free VMplayer with
one of the free "VM appliances" (pre build environment) is an ideal
solution.

Updating the software in the "virtual appliance" requires the VM workstation
which requires to purchase a license.
