Is anyone at present running TradeStation 2000i on a Mac?
I am getting quite interested in switching to either Mac or Linux with the
recent "force down your throat" stuff from Micro$hit. WGA is one thing,
Vista with it degraded performance due to media content checking is another
and then not to speak about all this spying on my machine.
I have been experimenting with VMware and the performance recently has come
to a levelt hat it is possible to run TradeStation 2000i under VMware
without killing performance. Am interested to hear of anyone having
experimented with Cross-over-Mac and Cross-over-Linux (a commercialised
version of Wine) : http://www.codeweavers.com/products.
It is a shame that Lenovo appears to have dropped support for Linux, there
was quite a bit of support for the old Thinkpad but the newer ones don't
seem to have any support any longer.....
